Our chef's cooking classes were enjoyed by hundreds of Edmontonians over a two-year period. Now, cooking enthusiasts in Saint John and the surrounding area have the opportunity to experience Chef Decker's uniquely entertaining style. Knowledgeable and passionate, our chef demonstrates a wide range of ingredients, styles, and professional tips and techniques for beginner and experienced cook alike.

Private Classes

For those who wish to receive personal instruction either individually or as part of a group, our chef offers private classes either at The Mariner's Table or within your home. They're an entertaining way to have fun with friends and family! Our chef has conducted classes for baby and wedding showers, birthdays and anniversaries, and many similar occasions. You may choose full participation with hands-on instruction and supervision from Chef Decker; or sit back and enjoy the show as Chef Decker provides a full cooking demonstration. Themes and menus will be determined in consultation with our chef. Classes held at The Mariner's Table are limited to no fewer than five, and no more than ten people. Class sizes for other venues will be determined by our chef as necessary. Client/Staff Reward Nights, and Teambuilding Sessions

For many of you, arranging social events for your staff or clients has become one of the major headaches of your job. May we suggest that a night with our chef is an easy and memorable solution to your problem? His hands-on and demonstration classes are perfect as rewards for your best staff or favoured clients. For extra-special occasions, the cooking class may be combined with an overnight stay on-site in the four-star comfort of the Mariner's Inn. Ask us about the special rate for cooking-class attendees.
